hello, i’m katie. i'm a magpie at heart and collected vintage for many years before beginning to streamline my collection selling online to make ends meet during the first lockdown. what started out of necessity quickly grew into a passion project & after a few months cordial was born. my little venture has gone from the living room of my rented flat to a bright studio showroom which is open to shop in person by appointment & is also the host of our monthly open studio events.

having spent over 15 years working in the fashion industry in visual merchandising & management, i wanted to use my background to help create a conscious slow shopping experience, casting a spotlight on the individual garment rather than the mass produced. i now personally source each piece with a focus on a romantic & feminine aesthetic, aiming to provide unique & wearable vintage clothing with the modern day conscious consumer in mind. where possible i endeavor to stock a wide variety of sizes & price points in the hope of making shopping slowly & sustainably accessible to all.
