1970s Laura Ashley Made In Wales Tomato Red & White Pansy Print Tiered Sleeve Maxi Dress 8
Beyond beautiful 1970s Laura Ashley maxi dress with the made in wales label. Bright striking tomato red in colour with sweet white pansy print throughout. Lovely square neckline lined in a pretty white lace trim echoed throughout. Lovely voluminous tiered short sleeves which stand up without pressing for a wonderful silhouette. Long flowing skirt with double tier ruffle hem for a lovely movement & finally a rear zip closure. Size 12 on the label but as with a lot of the same style this one runs a lot smaller than usual making it best suitable to a modern day size 8.
Measurements (these are taken from the rear of the garment when laid flat so need to be doubled where appropriate):
Pit to pit: 17”
Bust seam: 16.5”
Full length: 53”
Material: cotton
Condition: very good - I believe this has been previously altered to a slightly shorter length but as the material has been kept this can be reversed if desired for a longer length
