1970s Sally Tuffin Multicoloured Candy Stripe Balloon Sleeve Maxi Dress 14 16 18
Wonderful 1970s Sally Tuffin balloon sleeve maxi dress in a lovely Liberty tana lawn cotton multicoloured candy stripe with beautiful smocking detail fresh into the studio. Arguably best known for her ceramic works for Moorcroft as well as being half of Foale & Tuffin this is the first clothing of hers I’ve had through the doors. I’m also pleased to say it’s a really good size this one! Initially purchased for my own collection but it’s a tad big so I’m passing it on. Best for a modern day 14-18 dependant on desired fit.
Measurements (these are taken from the rear of the garment when laid flat so need to be doubled where appropriate):
Pit to pit: 25”
Waist: 30”
Full length: 58”
Material: cotton
Condition: good - smocking tension has ebbed over time hence sizing suitability
